Dr. Yao Wang, MD

Dr. Wang is one of our newest members here at Dr.Nader and Associates. She looks forward to serving the growing community of Las Vegas. Dr. Wang grew up with her family in Canada and graduated from University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science. She attended SUNY Upstate Medical University for medical school and completed her OB/GYN residency at University of Buffalo. After working a few years in North Dakota, she was ready to enjoy some nicer weather. Since Dr. Wang has lived in many different places over the years, she realized there is so much joy in new experiences like traveling and getting to know people from different cultures. When Dr. Wang is not working, she likes to relax by doing small projects such as gardening, art/crafts, or learning to cook new dishes.

Dr. Wang’s journey as an OBGYN started when she witnessed her first delivery as a medical student. She was completely fascinated by the process and overwhelmed by the amazing emotional experience that is shared with the mother and all the family involved. Dr. Wang knew then that she wanted to learn more and spend her life helping people with these powerful but also vulnerable moments. Since then she has also developed a strong passion in many aspects of women’s health and caring for patients at every stage of their life. Dr. Wang is committed to evidence-based care and empowering patients with all the information they need to live a healthier lifestyle. She says, “helping patients deal with difficult health issues and forming lifelong relationships is truly a privilege.”
